Crucifixion symbolises The Lord’s Supper
When the hour came, He reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him.
Then He said to them, “I have fervently desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.
For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.â€
Then He took a cup, and after giving thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves.
For I tell you, from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.â€
And He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to them, and said, “This is My body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.â€
In the same way He also took the cup after supper and said, “This cup is the new covenant established by My blood; it is shed for you.
Death & Resurrectionsymbolises Baptism
Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in a new way of life.
Creation symbolises Sabbath
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
All things were created through Him,
and apart from Him not one thing was created
that has been created.
Life was in Him,
and that life was the light of men.
That light shines in the darkness,
yet the darkness did not overcome it.
